Join us this summer at Camp Settoga, working onsite at a day camp for children four to twelve years old, located in the beautiful surroundings of Pomona, NY. In our Care and Inclusion team, you'll engage directly with youth in a vibrant day camp setting. This position will provide an opportunity to use your clinical skills while making impactful connections with campers and their families. Earn between $6,000 and $7,500 for the summer while playing a key role in a meaningful and supportive environment.

Make a differenceOn the Care and Inclusion Team at Camp Settoga, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing camper experiences! You will develop a strong understanding of campers' strengths, needs, and challenges. Your professional skills will show as you collaborate with counselors and leadership staff to advise, develop, and implement strategies and interventions in individual and group settings based on campers' social, behavioral, or emotional needs. Communicate regularly with families to keep them up to date on their child or tween's wellbeing.

Exceptional engagement and relationship-building skills are a must, as you'll be interacting closely with campers and their families. For this position, you need professional experience supporting children and tweens' mental, emotional, and social health and a master's degree or in progress in social work, psychology, counseling, or other related fields. You are caring, patient, collaborative, and flexible, and possess Critical thinking skills and excellent judgment. Exceptional engagement and relationship-building skills are needed, as well as diligence and attention to detail in maintaining proper documentation. Previous experience working at a camp is helpful
