Visiting Sports Coach Hockey

Marlborough College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Visiting Sports Coach (Hockey) to join our dynamic Sports Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to coach motivated pupils in one of the UK’s leading co-educational boarding schools, working within exceptional facilities and a supportive professional environment.

The Role

As a Hockey Coach, You Will

• Deliver engaging and high-quality coaching sessions for pupils of all abilities
• Develop technical skills, tactical understanding and match awareness
• Adapt coaching approaches to meet individual and team needs
• Promote teamwork, discipline and a positive sporting ethos
• Provide constructive feedback to encourage pupil progress
• Support fixtures, training sessions and relevant sporting activities
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records
  
  

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Strong experience in hockey coaching or competitive playing background
• A solid understanding of hockey skills, rules and tactical systems
• Excellent communication and the ability to motivate young players
• A positive, professional and adaptable approach
• A genuine commitment to pupil development and wellbeing
  
  

Experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
