Field Service Technician

Marlboro Fire Extinguisher, Inc.

Is currently seeking fire extinguisher technician to inspect, service, sell and maintain portable fire extinguishers.

For 53 years, Marlboro Fire Extinguisher, Inc. has been dedicated to its customers, and consequently has earned their respect and confidence in providing fire protection services.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

Strong communication and customer skills. Must be willing to work 40 hours a week.
Ability to cope with change, meet deadlines and make decisions in a timely manner.
Valid drivers license and clear criminal background check.
Ability to work in confined spaces and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment.

DAY to DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Servicing Extinguishers in preparation for weekly distribution.
Field work across various locations in MA.
Driving Company Van to and from job sites.
In-House Maintenance and Recharging Fire Extinguishers.

Fire Equipment Certificate of Competency (R46 MA License-Portable Fire Extinguisher) is a plus. We are willing to train the right candidate(s) to become licensed (R46) within the allotted time frame.

Hourly Pay $25.00 to $35.00 plus Commissions, Bonus’s and Benefits await you.

If you already hold an R46 License and have at least three years of experience, we can offer $35.00 per hour to start, along with all other benefits
