Overview
Marlboro Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and passionate full-time veterinary technician to join our team. We are a fast paced, high quality care general practice currently supporting a 3 doctor team. Our hospital flow relies on utilizing technicians to the full extent of their capabilities.
Your duties will include phlebotomy, assisting the veterinarians and other technicians in outpatient appointments, obtaining radiographs, running in-house labwork, setting up medications, client education, follow-up communication with clients post-treatment, and phone triage as needed. Depending on skill level and experience, may also include intake/discharge of surgical patients, monitoring and recovery of surgical patients, preparing/administering anesthesia, placing intravenous catheters, intubation, performing dental prophylaxis, obtaining full mouth dental radiographs. Some computer skills are necessary. Ability to provide high-level customer service, and work successfully in a team environment required. Individuals with a growth mindset encouraged to apply.
