**Now Hiring: Unarmed Security Officers**
- Location:** Cedar Rapids
- Pay:** $21.00/Hour
- Employer:** Marksman Security Corporation
- Responsibilities** of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
- Enforce site rules by warning or reporting individuals violating regulations (e.g., loitering, smoking, carrying prohibited items).
- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify safety and security risks.
- Respond to alarms, emergency calls, and incidents involving unauthorized individuals, injuries, or fires.
- Notify appropriate emergency services (police, fire department, EMS) when necessary.
- Accurately complete and submit reports, records, and incident documentation in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the security manager.
- Required Qualifications** of Security Officers:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to acquire and maintain a valid Iowa Security License, including state accredited training requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50 lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
