Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
- Observe and report all suspicious activity
- Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies
- Completes incident reports as required
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings as requested by Security Management
- Conduct interviews/hiring
- Conduct post-inspections
- Create training schedules for new hire officers
- Determine new hire requirements and training requirements
- Ensure that all contracted hours of coverage are met
- Participate in site and community events and training that supports facility initiatives
- Provide instruction and guidance for all officers
- Recruit, staff, and train in accordance with site requirements
- Completes officer time sheets and payroll
- Coordinates officer supply/uniform needs
- Coordinates officer vacation/time-off requests
- Coordinates fleet maintenance program
- Coordinates and provides oversight for VIP tour operations
- Monitor weather alerts or other notification systems and make appropriate notifications
- Provide instruction and guidance on use of security systems for all officers
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Security License (Required)
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving history (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years previous security supervision or leadership experience required
- Flexible/ on- call schedule availability
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attentive to detail
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
