Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM MQ / Integration Bus Engineer with strong expertise in mainframe environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with IBM zSeries platforms, messaging systems, and integration technologies, along with a strong background in system programming and enterprise messaging solutions.
This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting messaging and integration solutions in a z/OS environment, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across multiple applications.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and support IBM Message Queuing (MQ) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) solutions
· Perform system programming activities in a z/OS (IBM zSeries) environment
· Manage and support MQ infrastructure across multiple applications
· Work on integration, configuration, and deployment of messaging solutions
· Ensure high availability and reliability using SYSPLEX technology
· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to MQ and integration services
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise messaging requirements
Required Qualifications
· Strong hands-on experience with IBM zSeries / z/OS platform
· Expertise in IBM MQ (Message Queuing) administration and support
· Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or equivalent integration tools
· Solid understanding of SYSPLEX architecture and high-availability environments
· Experience in system programming within mainframe environments
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work onsite 5 days a week from one of the specified client locations
