Fine Grade Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Fine Grade Foreman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be involved in various construction projects, contributing to high-quality projects and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Must have proven experience as a Fine Grade Foreman.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various construction tasks.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Interpret and work from schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
• Participate in projects, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed.
• Assists with site preparation, layout, and measurement for grading activities.
• Operates basic power tools and machinery under direction, including compactors and saws.
• Installs barricades, fences, and other protective structures around the jobsite.
• Supports heavy equipment operators with alignment and adjustments.
• Assists with minor repairs and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Maintains jobsite cleanliness and assists with material staging and organization.
• Support construction estimating processes by providing input on material needs and project timelines.
• Operates heavy equipment for site grading, leveling, and excavation.
• Reviews project plans and ensures grading is performed to specification.
• Monitors equipment functionality and performs minor maintenance checks.
• Coordinates with ground personnel to ensure site safety and efficiency.
• Ensures proper alignment and depth while operating machinery.
• Follows safety protocols and traffic regulations on and around the jobsite.
  
  

Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret construction schematics accurately.
• Competence in using various power tools safely.
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Knowledge of basic construction practices and safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Requires standing, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, and excavators.
• Strong understanding of grading and excavation techniques.

10 hour shift
