Responsibilities:
- Assess and estimate the cost of repairs for automotive vehicles
- Inspect vehicles to identify and document damage and necessary repairs
- Collaborate with insurance companies to provide accurate repair estimates
- Communicate with customers to explain repair options and costs
- Order necessary parts and materials for repairs
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repair estimates and completed work
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Estimator or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately assess vehicle damage
- Proficient in using computer software for estimating repairs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and insurance companies
