Markley is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate qualified leads for the Markley Sales Team via prospecting activities, account research, and through participating in limited sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Generate interest, qualify leads and create pipeline growth via phone calls, emails and social media (where appropriate).
- Partner with internal sales stakeholders to strategize and lead sales opportunity qualification.
- Identify prospects’ business needs, challenges, and technical requirements to match Markley’s product solutions.
- Lead delivery of product pitch and adapt pitch to the needs of each prospect/customer.
- Research accounts and identify key personas, high-growth potential, net-new prospects.
- Identity and acquire targeted personas through available sales tools.
- Prioritize list of accounts for short and long-term pursuit to achieve sales objectives.
- Monitor trade publications, social media and news outlets for opportunities and leads.
- Actively maintain status of leads, accounts and opportunities within Salesforce.
- Provide timely and accurate opportunity information to senior sales leadership.
- Engage with Marketing for Sales campaign coordination and lead follow up.
- Knowledge of Markley’s full suite of products and offerings.
- Help grow overall company revenue while building a scalable and repeatable process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Highly results oriented self-starter.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) with ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
- Coachable, accountable, and driven to learn.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Office suite is a plus.
Salary : $55,000 - $62,500
