Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Testing: Drive test planning, test case development, and execution across both manual and automated workstreams.
- Platform & Hardware Validation: Conduct rigorous testing on proprietary OS platforms and hardware, ensuring stability across the ecosystem.
- Defect Lifecycle Management: Analyze test failures, file comprehensive defect reports, and perform root-cause analysis to identify patterns of issues.
- Quality Advocacy: Escalate key quality bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering partners to drive issues through to resolution.
- Reporting: Provide consistent, data-driven updates and formal reports related to your specific area of ownership.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Software Quality Analyst or in a closely related QA role.
- Analytical Skills: Proven expertise in test design, authoring, and troubleshooting complex scenarios to identify underlying defects.
- Independence: A self-driven professional capable of managing tasks and meeting deadlines with limited guidance.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, essential for drafting detailed technical reports and cross-functional updates.
- Education: BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
Preferred Skills & "Plus" Factors
- Hardware & IoT: Experience testing mobile devices, hardware components, home technologies, or Bluetooth accessories.
- AI & Emerging Tech: Previous experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or Virtual Assistants is highly desirable.
- Troubleshooting: Excellent debugging skills and a natural knack for breaking down complex system failures.
- Soft Skills: A curious, proactive learner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys exploring new technologies.
