Markin Tubing is a precision manufacturer of tight-tolerance welded steel tubing serving automotive and industrial markets. We are seeking a driven Technical Sales Representative to help expand existing accounts and convert new opportunities into long-term customers.

This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who enjoys asking the right questions, uncovering hidden opportunities, and working directly with engineering and operations to turn specifications into successful production programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow existing accounts by identifying new applications and part opportunities
  • Pursue targeted new prospects within automotive and industrial manufacturing
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards (SAE, etc.)
  • Develop accurate cost estimates and pricing proposals
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to support successful launches
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of qualified manufacturing opportunities

This is not a high-volume call-center sales role. Prospecting is focused, technical, and relationship-driven.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant manufacturing/technical experience
  • Ability to interpret technical prints and specifications
  • Strong communication skills and commercial curiosity
  • Background in automotive supply, metals, or industrial manufacturing preferred
  • Self-starter who can work independently within a collaborative team

Pay: $62,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
