We are a growth-oriented, boutique alternative investment firm with top decile performance run by a small, passionate, dynamic team of professionals. We're hiring an Investor Relations Associate with experience in the fund IR area to be a primary point of contact to our investors and a key partner to senior leadership. This is an important, fully remote role for someone who is self-motivated, comfortable operating as part of a close-knit team, and confident communicating with sophisticated investors. The role requires 100% availability during US Eastern Time business hours. Compensation is competitive.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a primary point of contact for investors — responding to inquiries, providing fund performance updates, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Prepare and distribute investor presentations, performance reports, tear sheets, and DDQs; clearly communicate investment strategies and opportunities to prospective investors
• Cultivate and grow relationships with existing and prospective investors, including representing the firm at networking and industry events
• Develop content for investor updates, newsletters, and other promotional materials that support fundraising
• Manage the investor communications calendar and ensure timely, accurate delivery of materials
• Work closely with portfolio managers, legal, and compliance to ensure smooth investor operations and onboarding
• Coordinate conferences, advisor meetings, webinars, and industry events.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on new marketing initiatives and strategic growth projects.
• Coordinate scheduling of investor meetings and conference calls.
• Support miscellaneous administrative and operational projects in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
• Maintain and build out CRM systems and processes for tracking investor interactions and the fundraising pipeline
Qualifications
• Requires 3-5 years of investor relations experience at a hedge fund, SMA manager, or other alternative investment firm
• Highly organized and motivated to succeed, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, small-team environment
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and hedge fund/alternatives structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, compelling presentations
• Intelligent and persuasive with high professional integrity
• Comfortable and productive working fully remote, with strong self-direction and reliable communication habits
