Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and enthusiasm
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure fresh, safe, and appealing menu items
- Operate POS system for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and dining spaces
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and smooth operations
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service environments with strong coffee-making skills
- Familiarity with POS systems for sales transactions and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques
