CDL-A Regional Driver - No Experience needed - Weekly Home Time

Just earned your CDL-A and ready to start your driving career? Markhams Work Services is hiring recent CDL graduates for Northeast regional routes, giving new drivers the opportunity to gain valuable experience while earning competitive weekly pay. Pay & Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,600–$2,000/week
• Annual equivalent: $83,000–$104,000/year
• CPM Rate: 70¢ - 75¢ (1 CPM increase each year up to 5 years)
• Miles: 2,000–2,500 per week
• Sign-on bonus: $4,000(Paid over 6 months)

Home Time

• Home every week

Orientation

• Orientation takes just one paid day and includes safety procedures, equipment familiarization, drug screening, and a driver skills assessment. You'll receive $300 in orientation pay with your first paycheck, and transportation and hotel accommodations are provided.

Freight & Routes

• Drivers haul 100% no-touch dry general commodity freight throughout the Northwest on established regional routes. Consistent freight volumes and steady miles provide year-round driving opportunities, with no forced dispatch into New York City.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia
• Automatic transmission only - manual restriction accepted
• Assigned truck

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license required
• No prior experience needed - new graduates welcome
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must reside within 75 miles of Englewood, NJ
• Basic load securement knowledge
• No major moving violations in the last 12 months
• Background check for last 10 years
• Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screening

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
• Perform pre and post trip inspections daily
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and required paperwork
• Deliver freight safely and on schedule
• Operate automatic tractors with 48–53 foot trailers
• Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations
