Markham Landscape Products Inc. A Growing Charleston area landscape materials company is seeking a professional CDL class A-B, flatbed with Moffett truck driver.
Position Overview:
*applicants must be willing to work on the yard loading trucks and material
As an integral part of the MLP team, CDL Drivers operate an MLP vehicle to deliver landscape materials and products to our customers. CDL Drivers are also responsible for ensuring loaded orders are accurate and properly secured. Drivers will be working with teammates to ensure that we always provide the highest level of customer service. The current open truck is a 2015 Western Star Quad Axle Flatbed with Moffett and a Manual Transmission.
What you will do:
- Operate a company vehicle in accordance with regulations
- Perform daily truck inspections and record keeping
- Assist with loading customer orders unto your assigned company truck
- Verify the accuracy of the orders as loaded
- Strapping and securing loads according to state regulations
- Delivering materials to customer jobsites and unloading at the direction of the customer
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Operate forklift and skidsteer in yard/warehouse to receive incoming inventory and load customer orders
Skills we are looking for:
- Valid Class A or B drivers license with clean driving record
- Experience with Moffett and Warehouse Forklifts
- Ability and Certification to drive manual transmission
- Ability to perform physical requirements such as bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head on a daily basis
- Ability to lift 80lbs
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
