About The Team Lead:

MarketStar is looking for a Team Lead to support our Account Executive team. This role acts as a frontline coach and performance driver for a pod of Account Executives (AEs). You will be responsible for day-to-day execution, driving coaching initiatives, and ensuring the team consistently achieves its revenue targets.


Location: Ogden, UT (Hybrid)


What Will You Do?

  • Own team quota and pipeline health across a pod of Account Executives (AEs).
  • Conduct regular 1:1 performance discussions, live call coaching, and detailed deal strategy sessions.
  • Review sales forecasts, inspect CRM hygiene, and run weekly business reviews to manage performance.
  • Optimize coverage models, territory plans, and account segmentation to maximize market reach.
  • Partner with Training, Quality Assurance (QA), and the Sales Manager to close skill and process gaps within the team.
  • Handle escalations, unblock complex deals, and drive cross-functional alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Recruit, onboard, and ramp new hires quickly in partnership with the Training department.
  • Other applicable duties as assigned.


What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • 4 years of professional experience in digital media or SaaS sales.
  • 1 year of experience in a team lead, senior Account Executive, or peer mentoring/coaching capacity.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota in a competitive sales environment.
  • Strong forecasting discipline and fluency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Excellent communication, advanced objection handling, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading Small-to-Midsize Business (SMB) or velocity sales motions for advertising platforms.
  • Certifications in established sales methodologies or enablement practices.
  • A data-driven approach, with comfort using dashboards and performance analytics to identify trends.
