About the Sales Manager: MarketStar is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our dedicated outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) team focused on the digital wealth management sector. As the Sales Manager for this crucial team, you will be pivotal in driving pipeline growth and achieving revenue targets within the digital wealth management market. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, coaching, and development of a small team of outbound SDRs, ensuring they effectively execute a proactive outreach strategy. Your leadership will provide the necessary support, resources, and guidance to enable their success. Furthermore, you will be accountable for closely monitoring team performance, proactively addressing any challenges, and cultivating a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Location: Ogden, Utah What Will You Do? Drive your team to meet and exceed sales quotas and client expectations through the implementation of effective outbound pipeline generation and management processes focused on digital wealth management solutions. Coach and develop outbound SDRs to excel in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly activity and output targets, specifically tailored to engaging potential clients in the digital wealth management space. Collaborate and align with other sales leaders and program stakeholders within the digital wealth management initiative, sharing successful outbound strategies and collaboratively overcoming obstacles. Present the value proposition of MarketStar and our expertise in the digital wealth management sector internally and potentially to clients, emphasizing the strengths of our outbound approach. Utilize data management skills to analyze outbound sales performance metrics and ensure the accuracy of all lead and activity data within our CRM system. Assess current outbound processes, procedures, and outcomes of the SDR team to identify areas for optimization and implement effective improvement plans. Maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders in sales and marketing to ensure seamless collaboration on outbound initiatives for the digital wealth management market. Ensure adherence to risk management and compliance standards in all outbound sales activities and team operations. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outbound messaging, identify target prospects within digital wealth management, and support overall sales objectives. What Will You Need to Succeed? Successful track record in a sales or business development role with a demonstrable history of driving performance and exceeding goals, ideally with experience in outbound prospecting within the financial services or technology sectors. 2 or more years of prior experience leading a team, preferably with experience managing outbound sales development representatives or similar roles. Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of outbound strategies and provide clear coaching. Experience building strong team relationships, effectively managing conflict within a team, and leading by example in driving outbound activity. Track record of coaching and developing team members, including those who may be underperforming, to achieve and surpass outbound engagement targets. Ability to adapt and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment focused on outbound sales initiatives within the digital wealth management space. Strong analytical skills to interpret outbound sales data and activity metrics to drive informed coaching and strategic adjustments. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with team members and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders. Proven outbound sales skills to support business development efforts and contribute to achieving overall sales targets within the digital wealth management market. Familiarity with technology and sales tools relevant to outbound sales operations and client relationship management; knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is preferred.
