Marketside Equipment is looking for a dependable, hardworking Painter’s Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position assisting with the preparation and painting of heavy equipment and machinery.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing equipment for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, prepping surfaces and occasionally pressure washing.
- Assist the painter with paint application and finishing as needed
- Help move, position, and prepare equipment throughout the shop and yard
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and instructions
- Pay close attention to detail to ensure quality work
- Perform other general shop duties as needed
Requirements
- Dependable and willing to work as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with pride in the quality of your work
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment
- Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
- Previous painting, bodywork, equipment, or shop experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
