About the Role:
PHL Food & Shops is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our Operations team at Philadelphia International Airport. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant environment for the airport’s retail and food concessions program. Key Responsibilities:
- Process and log retail and food & beverage deliveries per established procedures
- Escort delivery vendors on the airfield using a company vehicle, following all regulations
- Monitor safety practices and report hazards in loading and storage areas
- Maintain clean, safe, and secure storage and loading spaces
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance and orderliness
- Maintain fuel, oil, and vehicle logs; operate company vehicle safely and responsibly
- Provide occasional overtime escort services when needed
What We're Looking For:
- Detail-oriented individual who follows procedures with precision
- 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military (preferred)
- Proven ability to stay professional and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
