The Opportunity
The Fabricator I is a key player in creating and packing our products. At Marketlab, we believe in manufacturing only the highest quality of products. Your work will ensure we live up to our customers’ expectations. This role will read and interpret manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs), use work instructions to fabricate components, and perform quality checks on finished products. We will invest in your growth by developing your knowledge of the manufacturing process and quality controls.
What You'll Do
- Peel and pack products.
- Assist with gluing, polishing, and bending of products.
- Assist with the set-up of work orders.
- Find new ways to improve productivity.
- Perform quality checks on products.
- Ensure the production floor is clean at the end of the business day.
- Count products and accurately entering numbers into work orders.
- Complete tasks within assigned timelines.
- Calculate measurements for table and heater set-ups.
- Read, understand, and follow written procedures in order to meet quality standards.
- May be trained on operating a hi/lo depending on responsibility.
- Complete miscellaneous assignments as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Three or more months of manufacturing experience and/or training preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills to work with team members.
- Previous assembly experience is preferred.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to tolerate temperatures in the workspace that fluctuate throughout the year.
