1st Shift-Shipping Associate
Marketing Communication Resource is a leading printing and direct mailing company specializing in high-quality marketing materials, print solutions, and direct mail services.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Associate to join our team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for processing outgoing shipments, preparing shipping documents, verifying orders, and arranging for transportation and delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday along with either Saturday or Sunday during our busy season, September-December.
Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or packing lists, and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.

Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Maintain records of inventory transactions, shipping/receiving activities, and other warehouse operations. -
Use shipping tools and equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and shrink-wrap machines safely and efficiently.
Load orders onto trucks for daily deliveries to the post office.
Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Associate or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and operate warehouse equipment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, email, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
