1st shift: Monday-Thursday from 7:00am-5:30pm (plus mandatory overtime)
Creative Plastics (Health & Beauty), a division of Marketing Alliance Group, is seeking a Material Handler.
Duties:
- Uses a powered industrial vehicle (forklift, man-up, pole, etc.) or manual pallet jack to move items from point to point in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conducts transactions via computer to assure items are relocated in the appropriate manner so that records related to inventory are accurate.
- Assures aisles are clean and clear of clutter and places items in the appropriate location in a neat manner.
Requirements:
- Position requires a strong attention to detail as each employee is responsible for the accuracy of their work.
- This full-time position requires the ability to multi-task in fast paced, deadline driven environment as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to position.
Push/Pull: Maximum force pushed/pulled: Using upper extremities to exert force to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
Standing: Standing for sustained periods of time.
Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
