This role leads subcontractor coordination, work planning, field execution, and safety compliance to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily field construction activities for mechanical scopes.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to maintain project schedules and priorities.
- Develop short-term look-ahead plans and coordinate work sequencing.
- Monitor construction progress and resolve field issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and field documentation.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, QA/QC, Safety, and other project stakeholders.
- Track manpower, field productivity, and construction progress.
- Participate in daily and weekly construction meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical construction supervision experience.
- Semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech industrial construction experience preferred.
- Experience managing mechanical construction activities on industrial or semiconductor projects.
- Knowledge of process piping, utility piping, HVAC, exhaust, and mechanical systems.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and field trades.
- Ability to read construction drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and schedules.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Semiconductor Fab construction experience.
- Experience working at TSMC or similar semiconductor facilities.
- Experience with cleanroom construction and process utility systems.
