BIM Modeler (Electrical)

Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeler (Electrical) to support electrical design and coordination efforts for semiconductor, high-tech, and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 3D electrical models, preparing construction drawings, and coordinating with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to support project execution.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Revit and AutoCAD, a strong understanding of electrical systems such as cable trays, conduits, and panels, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. This role plays a key part in improving design accuracy, clash detection, and model coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Modeling and Design Support

• Develop, update, and maintain 3D electrical models using Revit and AutoCAD
• Create and revise detailed electrical layouts including cable trays, conduits, panels, and related components
• Generate 2D construction drawings and sheets from 3D design models
• Review and update models to reflect design revisions and field changes

Coordination and Project Support

• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project requirements
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide progress updates on assigned modeling tasks
• Support design coordination efforts to help resolve conflicts and improve constructability
• Communicate with internal teams and subcontractors regarding model updates and project needs

Clash Detection and Quality Control

• Perform clash detection and identify design conflicts or discrepancies within the model
• Assist in resolving clashes and coordination issues with project stakeholders
• Help ensure models and drawings are organized, accurate, and aligned with project standards

Documentation and Technical Support

• Maintain accurate design files, project records, and drawing revisions
• Support the preparation of as-built documentation as needed
• Review P&IDs and PFDs as needed to align with 3D models and system requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD for electrical modeling and drafting
• Previous experience in electrical design, BIM modeling, or construction coordination
• Familiarity with electrical systems such as cable trays, conduits, and panels
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple updates and revisions
• English communication required

Preferred

• Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech, or industrial construction projects
• Experience with VDC/BIM coordination in a construction environment
• Experience working on or supporting active construction sites
• Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, and construction documentation processes
