Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in industrial maintenance environments. Candidates with backgrounds in industrial electrician work, hydraulics, HVAC/R, welding, and field service are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical manuals
• Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders and documentation
• Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
• Repair or replace high voltage and low voltage electrical components safely according to industry standards
• Utilize welding skills, including welding techniques, for fabrication and repairs
• Maintain hydraulic systems including troubleshooting and component replacement
• Use scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access elevated areas during maintenance tasks
• Follow safety protocols related to high voltage, HVAC/R systems, and other hazardous environments
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and efficiently using schematics and technical documentation
• Provide excellent customer service by supporting internal teams or external clients during field service operations

Experience

• Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within manufacturing facilities or similar environments
• Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electrician practices, high voltage, low voltage systems, and relevant testing instruments (ammeters, ohmmeters)
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and mechanical repairs
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, schematics interpretation, and analysis skills
• Background in industrial maintenance or related technical fields such as military service or technical sales is advantageous
• Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and effectively in an industrial setting
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on analysis of complex mechanical or electrical issues
• Strong communication skills in English necessary for documentation and team collaboration

Pay: $25.74 - $31.00 per hour
