Responsibilities
* Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service.
* Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on their lifestyle, prescription, and budget.
* Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear products.
* Process eyewear orders accurately and efficiently.
* Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients.
* Adjust, fit, and perform minor repairs on eyeglasses.
* Maintain attractive merchandise displays and organize inventory.
* Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls.
* Process payments and maintain accurate records.
* Work collaboratively with the optometrist and optical team to ensure an excellent patient experience.
* Meet individual and team sales goals while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
* Optical experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Positive attitude and professional appearance.
* Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
* Comfortable learning optical terminology and insurance processes.
* Basic computer skills.
* Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with frame styling and lens recommendations.
* Knowledge of vision insurance plans.
* Experience using optical software such as RevolutionEHR is a plus.
