As we continue expanding our operations, we seek dedicated Inventory and Purchasing Specialists to join our team.

Position Overview:

Market Refrigeration, located in Palm Bay, FL, seeks motivated Inventory and Purchasing Specialists to support our operations. This role involves sourcing parts, managing inventory, and maintaining communication with technicians and vendors to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

· Support technicians by promptly communicating with them and vendors via phone/email to source parts.

· Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.

· Order necessary branch stock and replenish inventory as needed to support operational needs.

· Utilize ERP system for inventory management and procurement tasks.

· Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing and terms.

· Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of ordered items.

· Perform computer and phone work, demonstrating strong follow-through and attention to detail.

· Keep the warehouse organized and clean.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

· Assist in maintaining a smooth flow of parts and supplies to support operational needs.

· Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory management and purchasing. (Required)

· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. SAP experience is a plus.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.

· Knowledge of refrigeration systems and components is a plus.
