What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial HVAC/R Installer position at Market Equipment?
Commercial Refrigeration Installer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install refrigeration piping (underground and overhead), and refrigeration system components
- Install walk-in coolers/freezers and cooler/freezer fixtures
Required Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC/R and controls)
- Able to use basic tools such as; hand tools, tape measures, battery operated tools, etc.
- Able to identify and understand the refrigeration cycle
- Mechanically inclined
- Traveling is required
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with refrigeration and or/commercial HVAC installation/service
- Universal EPA or O6A trainee card or license is a plus
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and specifications
- Ability to braze/solder copper tubing and fittings
