Market Bar Ovation, a new concept in Newport, KY, is looking for a barback to join our team, working an average of two to three shifts a week. We are located in the new Ovation development adjacent to Megacorp Pavilion.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, engaged, interested in craft cocktails, beer, and wine, and aspires to be a bartender. This is an ideal part-time job for a college student or a recent graduate. Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
Collecting glassware and cleaning up the bar area
Replacing beer kegs and liquor bottles
Refilling ice bins
Re-stocking retail area
Qualifications
Being able to lift 50 pounds
Enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude
Starting wage is $15/hour plus tips (average is $20-$25/hour depending on the shift)
