Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order picker equipment and pallet jacks to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, completing shipping & receiving documentation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations when applicable.
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts or other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and stock replenishment activities to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Assist in packaging products securely for shipment, ensuring compliance with trade standards and customer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for inventory information or order status updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and order processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all records.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, trade compliance standards, and international trade regulations is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a customer service mindset to support team collaboration and client satisfaction.
