Pay Range
$62.79 - $79.31 /hour

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles, effectively collaborate with the healthcare team, and take accountability for patient outcomes.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to unsure optimal patient care
- Implements patient histories, assesses patient's conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients.
- Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolutions of problems
- Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning to implements patient education and documents teaching
- Administers and controls narcotics and medications accurately and in a timely manner and signs out narcotics and medications according to hospital policy
- Maintains accurate documentation of patient's progress, nursing care, records and reports
Job Requirements
Minimum Required
- Current California RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Assoc.
- Six (6) months or more of experience in acute care required
- Able to do work in spite of frequent interruptions.
- Ability to read work product of others, computer/monitor screens, computer printouts.
- Able to perform mathematical calculations.
- High level of concentration and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with a team, prioritize work and make decisions regarding patient care, implements nursing actions independently, interacts appropriately with others.
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
