Psychosocial Rehabilitation Technician (PSR) - ADULT

Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Psychosocial Rehabilitation Technician for our adult team in our HANNIBAL MISSOURI - FORREST DRIVE location. Consider joining our MTBH Team! This position provides services to adult clients enrolled in the Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. These services include, but are not limited to, groups that promote independent living skills, community integration, personal growth, health and wellness, the development of social supports, social skills and leisure activities. It is designed to maintain and improve the ability of clients to function as independently as possible in their family and community.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and provision of programming and group activities based on identified client needs and in accordance with program standards. This includes providing transportation to various programs and activities.
- Maintain a monthly calendar of events/groups, log of group attendance and billing information.
- Assist in documentation of each PSR service provided on a billing log daily, accompanied by relevant notes in accordance with program standards.
- Assist with writing of weekly summary note for each client who received PSR services that week.
- Maintain flexible hours to accommodate programming that meets client needs. This may include working evenings and weekend hours.
- Provide ongoing communication to residential care facilities, guardians and family members as needed.
- Participate in team meetings to provide information on client's group participation and offer suggestions regarding ongoing treatment needs for clients served. This may include participating in annual interviews and quarterly reviews.
- Complete necessary shopping chores to maintain needed inventory and supplies at the PSR site.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the PSR sites and vehicles.
- Complete Time Sheets daily.
- Adhere to all client rights, including confidentiality.
Adherence to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies is required.
Current driver's license is required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid Certification are required (may provide upon hire)
- Medication Aide, Level I Certification is required (may provide upon hire)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
