Job Summary
Mark Scott Construction, Inc. is an established Bay Area General Contractor specializing in Residential & Commercial construction. We are currently seeking a talented Superintendent to join our Insurance Reconstruction division. With multiple offices across the Greater Bay Area and a diverse range of construction divisions, this role offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth.
Duties
- Managing multiple projects at various locations within the region.
- Coordinating all subcontracted trades and supervising in-house crews.
- Conducting pre-construction meetings.
- Reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
- Creating and maintaining project schedules.
- Promoting and monitoring site safety procedures and conducting weekly safety meetings.
- Documenting daily activities and providing weekly reports on job progress.
- Basic computer skills are a must. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS Project is a plus.
- Successful completion of a Background check is mandatory for access to secure environments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the Insurance Reconstruction industry (Residential & Commercial).
- Proficiency in essential computer applications, including Xactimate and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with local regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management and supervision capabilities.
- Effective decision-making and leadership aptitude.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Preferred: Minimum 5-years’ experience. Comparable bachelor’s degree in construction management or relevant field may be acceptable.
- Clean DMV history and successful background check.
