Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing various events, from small gatherings to large conferences, ensuring that each one runs smoothly and meets the expectations of clients and attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from concept to completion.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while meeting client needs.
- Develop event timelines and track project milestones to ensure timely execution.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations for each event.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure favorable terms.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role in event planning.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
