What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at Mark Miller Subaru?
The Finance Manager is a key member of the dealerships sales team and plays an important role in the sales process. The primary responsibility of the Finance Manager is to structure deals in compliance with federal, state and local laws; finance lender guidelines and dealership and Subaru of America policies. The Finance Manager is also responsible for using an F&I process that ensures products are presented to all customers and for contributing to dealership profitability and revenue.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Sales Process
Know and implement dealership policies and procedures
Structure deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines
Communicate any problem deals to management immediately
Address missing stipulations communicated from lender immediately
Verify accuracy of all material information on the credit application and submit to lender
Maintain confidentiality of customer information
Use and follow steps in the menu selling process to present credit insurance, service contracts and other financial products and to close all deals
Deliver vehicles as needed
Customer Satisfaction
Adhere to dealerships ethical standards and be respectful to all customers
Work with management and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Train and supervise sales staff concerning the purpose and use of customer information they are gathering
Monitor and maintain acceptable Purchase Experience Survey scores as required by dealership management
Paperwork and Lender Relations
Establish and maintain good lender relations
Maintain a lender guide of programs you are currently using and obtain a working knowledge of them
Evaluate new lender programs and products
Maintain file for inactive deals
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as requested by management
Complete funding packages as directed by the title clerk
Review funding packages prior to submission
Receipt deposits immediately
Personal
Establish goals for turnovers, presentations and F&I products on a monthly basis
Maintain a clean, organized work area including a secure document storage area
Adhere to dealership dress code
Professional Development
Be knowledgeable of and follow all state and federal regulations regarding finance and fair credit reporting
Maintain annual Subaru Foundations certification
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products being offered
Keep up-to-date on trends in financial services and coach the sales team accordingly
Attend training programs as requested by management
Qualifications:- Experience in automotive sales in either Product Specialist or Service Advisor positions.
- Outstanding customer service with honesty and integrity
- Learning your job requirements thoroughly
- Thorough understanding of the employee handbook and dealership regulations
- Showing up to work on time
- Understanding that not performing to the best of your abilities will result in a verbal warning, write-up, then termination if it continues
- No speaking on the phone or texting in a company car
- Agreement to aid the dealership staff as needed
- Being socially perceptive and having good time management skills
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
