Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded Senior Remodeling Carpenter to join our team as a full-time, in-house employee. This position is ideal for someone with broad residential remodeling experience who is comfortable working independently and completing a variety of repair, renovation, and finish tasks.
Typical work will include small framing modifications, wood rot repair, exterior trim and siding-related repairs, door replacement and adjustments, decking repairs, minor drywall patching, small painting projects, punch-list work, and other miscellaneous residential remodeling tasks.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, can troubleshoot existing conditions, and is comfortable working in occupied, high-quality homes.This role supports the Signature Services Division and helps ensure every project is completed to Mark Johnson Custom Homes’ standards of craftsmanship, cleanliness, and client satisfaction.
Duties - What We’re Looking For:
- Take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Assess existing conditions, troubleshoot repairs, identify needed materials, and complete work with minimal supervision.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with homeowners and our team.
- Work respectfully in occupied, high-quality homes, protecting furnishings, controlling dust, and leaving the work area clean each day.
- Use our mobile project-management app for time tracking, daily job notes, and progress photos.
- Have a valid driver’s license and demonstrated experience performing the work described above.
Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
