What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse & Forklift Associate – Day Shift position at Mark IV Transportation & Logistics?
We are a busy transportation company seeking a dependable Day Shift Warehouse & Forklift Associate to join our team. This role supports daily warehouse operations and requires strong equipment skills, accuracy, and reliability.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Mandatory overtime every other Saturday and Sunday
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack, and riding electric pallet jack
- Load, unload, move, and stage freight efficiently
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Use computer systems for data entry and communication
- Read, send, and respond to emails promptly
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for basic tasks
Requirements:
- Experience operating warehouse equipment listed above
- Computer literate; able to use email, Word, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekend overtime
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
