Role Description
This is a part-time on-site position for a Pharmacist at Mark Drugs Roselle in Roselle, IL. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications according to prescriber specifications, ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing patient counseling on drug therapies. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare professionals, managing inventory, and keeping accurate records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in prescription filling, compounding medications, and ensuring accurate dosing and formulations
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, compliance standards, and safe medication handling practices
- Strong communication skills for patient counseling, collaborating with healthcare providers, and addressing patient inquiries
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure precision in pharmaceutical processes
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and inventory control
- Pharm.D. degree or equivalent; an active and in good-standing pharmacy license in Illinois is required
