Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, or spray equipment like airless paint sprayers.
- Perform surface preparation tasks including caulking, glazing and sanding.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong understanding of construction site procedures.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, brushes and rollers
- Background in construction painting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights or on construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining high-quality standards.
