Duties
- Provide accurate and timely insurance quotes to new and existing customers.
- Review customer coverage and recommend policy options based on their needs.
- Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, community events, and outreach.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and recommend additional insurance products.
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and policy renewals.
- Maintain customer records and documentation in the agency management system.
- Educate customers on coverage options, policy changes, and insurance products.
- Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for effective sales management.
- Knowledge of various insurance lines including life, property casualty, and commercial insurance is highly desirable.
- Understanding of insurance regulation and benefits administration processes to ensure compliant client service.
- Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing client needs and tailoring insurance solutions accordingly.
- Prior experience in customer service roles that emphasize client communication and relationship building is advantageous.
- Must possess a valid State of Michigan license in Life and/or Property & Casualty insurance.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
