The Visitor Services Representative serves as the primary point of contact for students, instructors, and visitors, particularly during evening hours. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, supporting exhibitions, and assisting with administrative duties.
Work Hours & Pay:
- Schedule: Part-time with evening hours, typically Tuesday to Thursday, and some Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Occasional weekend or special event shifts may be required.
- Pay: $12.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Welcome and assist students, instructors, and visitors. Handle phone inquiries related to programs, exhibitions, and events.
- Registration & Sales: Accept membership registrations, help with class/workshop enrollments, and assist with gift shop and exhibition sales.
- Exhibition Oversight: Monitor gallery activities to ensure art safety and track attendance.
- Event Assistance: Help with post-event clean-up.
- Building Security: Lead closing procedures, ensuring the building is secure and ready for the next day.
