We are seeking a kind and compassionate Medical Assistant to support patients in a gastroenterology practice with offices in Honolulu and Aiea. This Monday–Friday position includes no Saturdays, provided parking, and equal time at both offices. The Medical Assistant will report to a gastroenterologist and support routine office visits and endoscopy education.
Responsibilities
- Complete patient intake and collect medical histories.
- Measure and record patient vital signs.
- Provide patient education and compassionate care.
- Support routine gastroenterology office visits.
- Assist with endoscopy preparation.
- Work at both the Honolulu and Aiea offices with equal time at each location.
- Coordinate patient care activities under the direction of the gastroenterologist.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in medical assisting.
- Medical Assistant diploma or certificate.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of vital signs measurement and medical terminology.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Strong attention to detail.
Salary : $3,520 - $3,840
