Job requirements and primary duties and responsibilities:
· Answering and/or transferring phone calls and taking messages for the office
· Sorting and delivering all mail and faxes
· Excellent Communication skills
· Ability to work as a team player and work independently as required
· Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with clients, doctors, opposing counsels, and other employees
· Organizational skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly
· Time management skills to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasks throughout the day
· Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with clients
· Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all clients
· Proficiency in word processing software (M365)
· Ability to type as quickly as possible and accurately as possible
· Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation
· Maintaining a consistent and timely flow of the case work
· Obtaining documents such as police reports, medical records, and such for cases as directed
· Maintaining the files and keeping them organized for ease of access and information
· Drafting various documents such as correspondences, demand letters, representation letters, etc
· Assist the paralegal with any possible tasks for ongoing cases
· Assist the case manager with any possible tasks for ongoing cases
· Assist the attorney with any possible tasks for ongoing cases
Requirements:
· Degree: High school GED
· Languages: English but we would prefer Spanish or any other languages
· Years of Experience: 0-1 years in office setting
