Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality.
- Handle custodial responsibilities in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, with knowledge of commercial, residential, or industrial cleaning procedures.
- Skills in floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and painting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
