Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Housekeeper to join our staff.
As a Housekeeper, your duties include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, and ensuring that all areas are inspected and meet our standards.
Our ideal candidate has previous cleaning experience, is observant, quick, reliable, and committed to ensuring that our facilities remain clean and orderly.
Responsibilities
- Perform all cleaning duties for the facilities using provided products, tools and procedures
- Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows, cleaning
- Moving tables, chairs and other furniture
- Monitor, clean, service and maintain restrooms
- Document routine inspections and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and tile maintenance.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
