Mariposa Veterinary Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. We are an AAHA-accredited, integrative small animal and exotics practice providing care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and other exotic pets. We are committed to practicing high-quality, individualized medicine and to creating a low-stress experience for both patients and clients. Our team embraces Fear Free principles, and all team members are expected to obtain at least Fear Free Level 1 certification.
Our Client Service Representatives are the first point of contact for the families we serve. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and supporting a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care.
What You'll Do
Client Service Representatives help keep our multi-doctor practice running smoothly while creating a welcoming, supportive experience for both clients and patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and patients and managing front desk flow
- Answering multiple phone lines and responding to client questions
- Scheduling appointments and assisting with patient intake and discharge
- Creating and maintaining accurate medical records
- Processing payments and managing financial transactions
- Supporting communication between doctors, technicians, and clients
- Maintaining an organized and efficient reception area

Requirements
- Veterinary, animal care, shelter/rescue, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong computer skills (experience with Avimark is a plus)
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills required
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, sometimes loud reception area
Schedule
This position is based in our Lenexa clinic Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings (8:00 AM–12:00 PM).
