What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at MARIPOSA MARKET?
Mariposa Market is hiring a Cashier. We are looking for serious, hard working, team players.
***MUST BE AVAILABLE EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS***
Must have customer service experience and enjoy customer service!
The ideal candidate should:
- Show up to work on time, ready to work.
- Excellent, warm and enthusiastic customer service.
- Solid proven experience in high volume customer service.
- Ring up orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain balanced till
- Bag orders.
- Good with numbers and memorizing numbers.
- Team player - must work well in a team and independently.
- Listens to customer concerns and resolves problems to restore and promote good public relations.
- Cleans all appropriate areas in the front end.
- Maintain constant communication with supervisor to ensure that everybody is updated on pertinent information & is aware of any changes.
- Interest in or passion for organic food and health.
- Reports any potentially unsafe working environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to be on feet all day and use upper body constantly
- Fluent in English (other languages a plus).
