Mariposa Counseling is seeking a fully licensed Clinical Supervisor to join our growing group practice and step into a key leadership role.
This position is ideal for an experienced clinician who is confident in their clinical judgment, passionate about mentoring other therapists, and ready to take ownership of clinical quality and supervision within a collaborative and values-driven practice.
As we continue to grow, we are intentionally building a strong leadership team. This role will play a central part in supporting our clinicians, maintaining high standards of care, and shaping the clinical direction of the practice.

Role Overview
The Clinical Supervisor serves as the primary clinical leader within the practice, responsible for:
- Providing supervision and consultation to clinicians
- Supporting clinical development and performance
- Ensuring quality, ethical, and consistent care across the team
- Partnering with leadership to strengthen clinical operations
This role allows the CEO to step out of day-to-day clinical oversight, making this a highly impactful and visible leadership position.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Supervision & Leadership
- Provide individual and/or group supervision to clinicians
- Offer ongoing case consultation and clinical guidance
- Support ethical decision-making and risk management
Clinician Development
- Mentor and support clinicians in their growth and clinical skills
- Identify and address performance concerns
- Foster a positive and development-focused supervision environment
Clinical Quality Oversight
- Ensure documentation compliance and clinical standards are maintained
- Promote consistency and quality across clinicians
- Support appropriate handling of high-risk or complex cases
Collaboration & Leadership
- Contribute to hiring decisions and onboarding of new clinicians
- Participate in leadership discussions and practice development
- Support a collaborative, supportive team culture
Direct Client Care (as applicable)
- Maintain a reduced caseload based on role structure
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Fully licensed in the state of Michigan (LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
- Approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Michigan (or eligible)
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Prior experience providing supervision strongly preferred

Compensation
This is a W2 position with a blended compensation structure that reflects both clinical work and leadership responsibilities:
- $55/hour for client sessions
- $70/hour for individual supervision
- $110/hour for group supervision
Clinicians in this role typically work approximately 24 hours per week, with a mix of supervision and client care.
Estimated monthly earnings: $5,500–$6,500 , depending on supervision volume and caseload.
