What You’ll Do
Drive Financial Excellence
- Lead the preparation and analysis of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in full compliance with GAAP.
- Provide deep insights into financial performance, helping uncover trends and opportunities that support smarter decisions.
- Champion the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to build realistic, actionable budgets.
- Forecast future performance and cash flow needs, keeping leadership informed with timely variance analysis and recommendations.
- Design and maintain strong internal controls to protect assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Lead audit readiness, prepare required documentation, and manage relationships with external auditors.
- Manage cash flow strategy, including payables, receivables, and liquidity planning.
- Keep the business agile and well-capitalized by forecasting needs and optimizing working capital.
- Mentor and empower a growing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Delegate effectively while maintaining clear oversight on all key financial processes.
- Deliver clear, actionable financial insights that support new initiatives, investments, and long-term goals.
- Work side-by-side with senior leadership to assess opportunities and drive financial strategy.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- Experience: 5–7 years in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and in-depth knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communicator with a knack for making complex financial concepts easy to understand.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
